Located in the heart of the Scottish Highlands in Inverness, Darach is a small family-run business. Experts in their field, they take great delight in producing fine furniture out of reclaimed oak whisky barrels. All of their pieces are expertly crafted by hand, fusing tradition with usability to provide thoughtfully crafted items that are useful, long-lasting, and aesthetically pleasing.

Each oak whisky barrel is repurposed and altered, honouring the character of the wood. They are sourced from nearby Highland and Speyside distilleries. No two Darach pieces are alike since they uniquely reveal the rustic characteristics of the original barrel, giving each and every item a distinct individuality.

Please note that whilst we hold items in stock, many are made to order, taking approximately 6-8 weeks to make.
