A small family run company in the heart of the Scottish Highlands. Masters at their work, Darach takes pride in crafting quality furniture from vintage oak whisky barrels. Darach's products are exquisitely handmade, crafting tradition with functionality creates considered pieces that are built to last and expertly finished with beautiful design.

Sourcing their wood from local Highland and Speyside distilleries, each oak whisky barrel is repurposed and transformed by sympathetically maintaining and respecting the character of the wood. Revealing the marks, fissures and other rustic features of the barrel means that no two Darach pieces are the same, making each and every product unique.

Please note that whilst we hold items in stock, many are made to order, taking approximately 6-8 weeks to make.
